IMBOLC 🪶 With the arrival of Imbolc, what is still covered in the darkness of the earth will soon reveal itself. The first delicate snow drops stick their daring heads above the earth amidst barren fields or a blanket of snow. The world outside maybe slowly awakening, but I still feel like I am in the midst of winter. Days feel grey and foggy and if life permits me I prefer my little quiet cocoon above the cold outside. I created this image in another context, but it felt so fitting for how I feel this February that I wanted to share it with you. Curling up in a safe nest awaiting the song of spring. When I tell people that I celebrate the Wheel of the Year (of which Imbolc is a celebration), often people assume it involves complex and highly mystical rituals. I personally find most joy in celebrating these markers in the year in enchanting yet simple ways. I often bake, cook, clean, make music or take walks in nature. I have also danced around a fire at Beltaine, which surely was a delight. But most of the celebrations I spend in small gatherings sharing homemade food and enjoying lots of laughter and warmth. It’s those cosy moments I feel most connected to the cycles in nature. Imbolc has the spirit of cleansing and cleaning. It brings a promise of new beginnings and the first whisper of the return of spring. So I honor this Imbolc by cleaning and reorganizing our home (it surely needs some cleaning magic). I believe these seemingly mundane activities become magic when you infuse them with intention. Do you celebrate Imbolc? I’d love to hear how you celebrate or feel about this celebration in the wheel of the year. 💫 🏷️ Note: The celebrations of the Wheel of the Year is rooted in ancient cultural concepts worldwide, but the way we see it most portrayed today is heavily influenced by British neopaganism in the 20th century. Understanding its historical context is important to me and a continuous research. But what I love most about the wheel of the year is that it’s deeply rooted in nature’s cycles and I believe everyone everywhere is free to celebrate in their own way. Above all, follow what resonates with you and do what brings you joy. ✨

Czarujemy! Ostatnio dominują tutaj materiały dronowe, ale nie myślcie sobie, że nie robię też innych zdjęć.😀 Ten portrecik zrobiliśmy jeszcze w zeszłym roku, ale nie miałem na niego totalnie pomysłu i ostatnio w końcu zapaliła mi się lampka, dlatego usiadłem do obróbki! W tym roku zamierzam robić zdecydowanie więcej tego typu zdjęć. Jestem już na końcowym etapie tworzenia strony internetowej i tam będziecie mogli znaleźć więcej zdjęć "ludzi". Choć obiecałem sobie, że ludzie pojawią się też tutaj na profilu no bo przecież ile można wrzucać widoczki 😀 Jestem bardzo ciekawy jak tego typu zdjęcia Wam się tutaj podobają. Magiczne klimaty Dzisiejsze zdjęcie to taka mała zapowiedź tego, co wkrótce pojawi się na profilu. Od bardzo bardzo dawna chciałem zrobić zdjęcia w klimatach Harry'ego Pottera, no i w końcu nam się udało! Mam sporo materiału, więc póki co taki mały teaser. Ale już mogę Wam powiedzieć, że zapowiada się mega klimacik! Takie sesje robione dla siebie dają mi mnóstwo frajdy i są fajną odskocznią od kadrów, które wykonuje na co dzień. Bardzo Wam polecam robić różne zdjęcia i nie zamykać się tylko i wyłącznie na jedną tematykę. To rozwija umiejętności i pozwala spróbować czegoś nowego. Ja na pewno chciałbym zrobić trochę portretów, bo to jest dziedzina fotografii, którą raczej omijam. Ale wszystko powolutku do przodu. Najważniejsze żeby robić to co się kocha! Tempo dodawania postów jest ostatnio bardzo intensywne, ale nie chcę żeby te wszystkie ujęcia czekały. Niech idą w świat, może algorytm mnie zaskoczy i pokażę to zdjęcie większej ilości osób! To zależy też od Waszego zaangażowania, dlatego zachęcam Was do tego żebyście zostawili komentarz pod zdjęciem. Los que me conocen, saben que no dibujo “personas”. Que no uso colores y que no me quería salir de dibujar montañas. Este último tiempo, Chalten me encontró en su invierno con muchos proyectos personales, entre ellos, un concurso de ilustración @silentbookcontest y el querer investigar y aprender a usar otros materiales, crear escenarios imaginarios y sus personajes. Después de dos cursos de Domestika, entre ellos, Passion Project de @minicarbono, el cual recomiendo profundamente, así como que escuchen el podcast @makeartnotcontent, me metí en el mundo de los colores. Y de crear. Crear cosas fuera de mi zona de confort. Necesitaba este tiempo de re conectar conmigo y lo que quiero hacer con mis dibujos. Tengo permitido quejarme. Tengo permitido no querer agarrar un lápiz por mucho tiempo y también, tengo permitido vivir en el desbalance de querer crear y vivir de esto al mismo tiempo que intento llevar una vida socialmente activa. Magia! ⚡📸 Przyszła pora żeby trochę poczarować! Jak wiecie motywy filmowe są jednymi z moich ulubionych! W sumie to większość motywów jest z jednego filmu, ale spokojnie jak tylko będzie trochę cieplej, to zaskoczę Was kolejnymi ciekawymi projektami! Luty zapowiada się bardzo pracowicie, dlatego jeszcze nie będzie mnie tu tyle ile bym chciał, ale już w marcu wrzucimy wyższy bieg i będzie się naprawdę działo! Chciałbym wrócić do spotkań na żywo z Wami! Mam mega pomysły jak urozmaicić te spotkania, więc gwarantuję Wam, że warto czekać! 🙂 A wracając do motywów filmowych, to po raz trzeci oglądam serial Dark. Ten klimat mnie tak wciągnął, że musiałem wrócić do oglądania jeszcze raz! Chciałbym zrobić na profilu całą serię w motywie Dark, bo do tej pory wrzucałem tylko pojedyncze zdjęcia. Jest plan, trzeba tylko przejść do jego realizacji! W sumie przyszedł mi do głowy taki luźny pomysł! Napisz w komentarzu z jakiego filmu chciałbyś/chciałabyś zobaczyć zdjęcie w moim wykonaniu! Expecto Patronum ⚡️ Czarujemy! Pomysł na to zdjęcie miałem już jakiś czas temu, ale nie mogłem zebrać się do obróbki i poskładania wszystkiego w jedną całość. Teraz, gdy efekt w końcu mnie zadowala z wielką przyjemnością chciałbym pokazać efekt mojej fotokombinacji! Grudzień to idealny czas żeby wprowadzić na profil odrobinę magii! 🙂 To będzie bardzo dobra okazja żeby trochę odpocząć od standardowych kadrów. To pierwszy z kilku motywów Haryy'ego Pottera. Chciałbym częściej wykorzystywać motywy filmowe na zdjęciach! Lista pomysłów jest coraz dłuższa, więc uznałem, że nie ma co gadać, trzeba zacząć działać! 🙂 Takie artystyczne wizje siedzą mi w głowie i teraz jestem w stanie je realizować! Musiałem poświęcić na to sporo czasu, żeby poznać najważniejsze techniki tworzenia zdjęć, ale powiem Wam, że nie żałuję ani minuty! Warto inwestować swój wolny czas w rozwój. Prędzej, czy później to przyniesie efekty! Ja wiem, że przede mną jeszcze trochę pracy. Cały czas dążę do tego, aby kombinacje były efektowne i dopracowane w najmniejszym calu! Wiem, że fanów HP, jak i takich fotokombinacji tutaj nie brakuje, dlatego to zdjęcie dedykuję wszystkim miłośnikom czarów, magii i odrobiny fikcji! PS. Tak, wiem że to nie jest zdjęcie.
