This weekends projects: •Made a bracket out of abs plastic to mount my cruise control for my quick release setup. •Installed my new @kspauto upper control arms (under $200). •Replaced the passenger side cv axle with a new one from Rockauto. •&last but not least, painted the front two wheels silver while I had them off, gave her the old “civic special” as @jarredwheelie coined it. Wheelers Offroad bump stops installed front and rear with a flip kit. Was gunna cut the bolts down but they sit lower than the original bump stop which didn't tap down much due to the longer shocks bottoming out first so I think it will be OK until I notice them touching the frame. Before the new leaf packs I had oem tacoma leafs a 2 in AAL and a 2 in block. I was sitting at 39.25 inches from the floor to the fender. Now I am at 41 inches! Decided to upgrade my exhaust to a turn down style exhaust system, so I can run a larger spare tire. After some research, I came across the Tucker, made by Stromung exhaust. It's made from 309 stainless, fully tig welded, very stout, and built in the USA.
