Well after a busy couple months with a lot of hours flown, I was finally able to reach that magical number of 1500 hours of flight time. I didn’t think it was going to be possible, but I have such an amazing support system that pushed me and helped fund the big push to the end. There was a fire in Spallumcheen June 3 at MarDan Lumber Sales. The Wildfire Airtankers were circling in the area I was in, after dropping fire retardant on the mill fire. It could have been a lot worse, if it were not for their organized team effort getting the fire under control. I am very thankful for all the people who are involved in fighting fires and the others services they provide.
