Quite a number of very accomplished artists live and work here in Argyll and we are delighted that @carolinehunterartist and @georgestewartartist show their work at Winterton and Crinan House. We also have the honor to exhibit a couple of pieces of @ethel_walker_scotland. For a long time Adrian had been longing to get back being creative and has finally started to create beautiful driftwood lamps and other artefacts. We are very excited that Adrian has finally re-started his organic vegetable garden. 🥬🌶 While we were renovating and extending our house to turn it into a wee B&B he could not look after his garden and poly tunnel which he missed greatly. Sanity again at last! 😊He has already planted lots of seeds and is checking every day whether any seedling has popped up yet… 🌱We were very inspired by Kyle @urbanfarmstead and Morgan @dailyflourish when they were staying at our B&B a couple of years ago. ☀️ Adrian’s garden guru is Monty Don @themontydon. This year we purchased most of our seeds from @vital.seeds. They have an incredible customer service and Fred in particular has been extremely helpful. 🙏The image was taken before our renovation and we are looking forward to getting to this stage again. One of the nicest wee excursions we recommend to our guests is driving or cycling along the Kilberry Loop. The views across to the isle of Jura and the paps are breathtaking. If you are lucky you can see seals sitting on rocks or porpoises jumping out of the water. One of the highlights while staying with us at Crinan Ferry is taking a boat trip. You can either venture through the Corryvreckan (third largest whirlpool in the world) with Sandy @venture_west or journey more serenely around Loch Crinan on the Scarbh with Ross.
