Ok I think it’s now actually ready for paint. Tried my best to keep the clean engine bay look Velcro battery to hood Painted servo horn black for now This servo mount gets the servo the closest you can to the axle but the Servo has to sit that far forward to clear upper links Injora 59mm oil shocks for trx4m worked much better By meta standards the springs are too soft but I love them. They now collapse about 75% on idle weight and I love it. Went back to the 1.46 wheel setup since these have 60 gram locking rings each. I still can’t get over the amazing gearbox clearance 🥰 It can easily climb over a leg of a 300lb person while they are sitting on the floor. When I found out I could get an extra bed for my truck for 5$ my brain went into what can we make. And who doesn’t like options, SO introducing what I’ve been working the last two days! Absolutely happy with how my DIY taillights and suspension relocation bracelets for both front and back have turned out. I get just as much joy crawling and trail finding as I do fabricating and trying out different set ups as far as motors, transmissions, gears, suspension, mounting points, metal parts vs plastic parts, fine tuning to my liking and just plan tinkering with this truck. If you aren’t a fan of taking apart your truck 700 time and then putting it back together and think there we go it’s perfect, and then taking it apart to fix something or decide to upgrade something two days later and be just fine with the whole process again and again.
