Finally going to share my dozens of shots from my travels over the past year, beginning with France, given I was only just there. This shot captures the beauty of Gordes’ verdant valley, framed perfectly by @bastidedegordes’ medieval stone. While you can’t see it in this shot, Gordes is one of France’s most beautiful villages. A fortressed hamlet, it was built into the rock face of a 340-metre-high hilltop in the Middle Ages, and @bastidedegordes itself is built on 16th-century ramparts. Just a living history book, no biggie. .
