NIGHTCRAWLER- Can someone please help me understand why Jake Gyllenhaal was not even nominated for an Oscar for his performance. Because if he was he should have won. Nightcrawler is a Top 50 movie all time and Jake Gyllenhaal belongs in the conversation of delivering one of the greatest performances ever made. He was stupid stupid good in this movie. Lou Bloom the character Gyllenhall plays is not a good person. At All! But yet you still find yourself rooting for him because he's so driven and motivated to become the best and that's from the excellent screenplay. Renee Russo & Riz Ahmed give fantastic performances as well but this is Gyllenhalls movie from start to finish. Nightcrawler is a Cinematic Masterpiece! What're your thoughts on Nightcrawler?
