For anyone who’s watched my stories, they know I struggled with how to present this cat. I was more attracted to the wider borders of the paper around the image (first pic), but my original idea was the have the image borders meet the edge of the paper (second pic). Printing the gold leaves proved difficult when the paper was cut to the lino block’s size, so I added 0.5 inches all around and it made the printing MUCH easier. Unexpected consequence was how much I loved how it looked. 😅 But I found that tearing the borders off gave an interesting look to the paper that I thought fit the mood of the print. So the two versions are traditional print (first pic) and greeting card (second pic).
