In 1529 begon de bouw, al snel ging het fout en zakte de toren scheef. In 1533 hebben ze het opgegeven en de scheve toren is nooit afgebouwd. Toch is deze toren een van de belangrijkste symbolen van Leeuwarden geworden. De Leeuwarders zijn trots op hun Oldehove. 🌱
