The Milky Way shooting from a pine tree in Everglades National Park. Florida is one of the most urbanized states in the US, so the resulting light pollution has vastly limited the visibility of stars. There are still wild places in Florida that allow for some nice night skies, especially in the south. Everglades is a personal favorite.
