Day 16 - BOTANICAL BEAUTY

Japanese anemone can *dare I say* be rather "thuggish" as they can run amok in the garden. We inherited them when we bought our house and I used to pull them out as they just seemed to pop up where we didn't want them, they are indiscriminate ! Popping up all over the flower beds , even in between plants, becoming impossible to dig out without damaging another plant.
Anyway the huge amount I managed to dig out had been re planted in what is a wilder part of the garden and I have to say I have GROWN TO LOVE THEM they have brightened up that area no end, giving it some late colour
(we also have lots of different shades of pinks)
I have now realised due to it's late bloom in the season to embrace its beauty and now it’s absolutely imperative these herbaceous perennials that are still mingled in my flower beds will STAY !
