Always on the hunt for new compositions, I recently spent some time driving and hiking on and around the roads at the reservoir in hopes to find my next capture.
I've seen a lot of these flowers, but its extra difficult to find them in beautiful mountain settings with an appealing backdrop, or not wilted and battered. It makes it that much more satisfying when you search, search, search, and finally find what you envisioned for your shot.
I found some pretty awesome evening light the other day.
