These tiny newborn babies were rescued yesterday, when they were found abandoned in a garbage dump. Even with the most skilled and loving care, it is likely they are not going to survive, but we will do everything possible. Some were barely moving by the time they were rescued.
It breaks our hearts, the mother cat could have been sterilized and this would not have happened at all.
What breaks us the most is knowing several people walked past and didn't stop to help.
Our first priority was to get them warmed up. They were placed into a kennel with a warm water bottle. If they survive, they'll need to be fed every 3 hours, and encouraged to go to the bathroom.
They most likely will not survive, but they will know love, and sometimes, that's the best we can do.
