ππA plant-based diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and nuts has been linked to a lower risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, and obesity. By reducing the incidence of these diseases, a plant-based diet can positively impact lifespan.
πππIt's not a wide spread knowledge yet but people in their 60s saw an increase of an average of 8 additional years by making the switch from a modern Western diet to the more-plant based diet.
