A lot of people want to think that the animal in the first pic damages our lands and is detrimental to our wildlife. However I can confidently say that we have never seen as much wildlife, turtles, frogs, birds, and bugs, since we moved away from our conventional row cropping. When we grew row crops with heavy tillage and chemical inputs the only time you saw a turtle was in the spring if it got tilled up. After using some of the pesticides in the past we went years without seeing lightning bugs. Once we brought in cattle, started grazing them adaptively, and stopped tilling and using chemical applications we’ve only seen positive ecological improvement! We’re continually looking forward to continue that positive progression and excited to see what new impacts come next.
