Weekend hikes with my boys! After doing training laps on Saturday, Ken mentioned how good the weather was on Sunday and we had to do something. We were clueless on what was doable since there was very little beta out there and we eventually decided on a safe southern facing slope up that we'd just done last year at the same time. It turned out perfectly and we were sweating on the hike up it was so warm.
I didn't mind that it was a repeat either since it was just so nice to get out, in safe avalanche terrain for the conditions and perfect weather! We saw a size two go off across the valley so be sure to be safe out there!
Unfortunately I also didn't check my camera settings carefully and had my ISO set to 2000. 😠The photos turned out a bit weird and lost detail, but the scenes were still stunning!
