Fried Shrimps
Ingredients:
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil, for frying
Lemon wedges, for serving
Tartar sauce or cocktail sauce, for dipping
Directions:
In a shallow dish, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Place the beaten eggs in another shallow dish.
Place the breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
Dredge each shrimp in the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Dip the floured shrimp into the beaten eggs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Coat the shrimp with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the coated shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fried shrimp from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve the crispy fried shrimp hot with lemon wedges and your choice of tartar sauce or cocktail sauce for dipping.
