Holly knows about skin infections. She was eaten alive by lice as a tiny puppy and suffered terrible abscesses. Now she's got deep Pyoderma which is a bacterial infection.
We knew there was something wrong when she took up residence in Thep's bathroom. The tiled floor was cool of course but Holly was hiding away.
We found a small wet sore on the back of her neck and treated it immediately. The next day the infection had spread across the back of her neck and it was wet and full of puss. No wonder she's feeling unwell.
After 2 days treatment the nasty wet infection has started to dry out and become crusty. Today Holly needed a shampoo to help stop the infection from spreading and wash off some of the crusty dead skin.
She's now feeling much better but these pictures show what Holly thought of her shower! She will need a shower every 2 or 3 days until the infection has healed..
