This is what I've been reading for the past few months. I discovered and fell hard for the Icelandic sagas, and I've read and already re-read all the ones I own, because they're a vast, complex, inter-textual new world, and each seem to merit re-reading. Other medieval stuff: Beowulf, again. And the Canterbury Tales, complete for the first time.
Intimacies was also quite good, it was great to wallow through another dense Pamuk (my 7th by him) and I loved re-reading Transit, what a fun book.
