Feb 11: Seattle to Mount Hood.
Woke up to a beautiful sunny morning in Seattle. At the start of the trip we were on a tight timeline to get to California in time for a music festival, with a side quest in Bend, OR. We did make time for a great espresso and a stop at some new-to-us American stores. It was out first Harbor Freight (for Travis) and our first Hobby Lobby (for me). After some discussion "we" decided that "we" probably didn't need to decorate the truck in a new theme...
Our son and @tuktheterrible settled right into #vanlife. They loved looking out the windows and watching the world go by.
We skirted around Portland and headed to Mount Hood where we stopped at Government Camp for the night. We weren't prepared to encounter snow and below zero temperatures, packing instead for a winter in Mexico, but the truck stayed toasty warm.
