Zion National Park is something else.The park offers stunning views, amazing hikes, and the wildlife is extremely friendly.
The Narrows was closed but consists of a roughly 16 mile hike through the Virgin River. We were able to hike the first mile before the trail closed due to high water, possible flash floods, and cyanobacteria in the water.
During this visit, the emerald pools weren’t so emerald but the hike was phenomenal. A unique 3 mile loop trail with red rocks and sand led us through winding cliff edges and provided stunning views nearly the entire way.
The day ended with a quick 1 mile hike of Canyon Overlook trail for sunset. The overlook sits right above The Great Arch and provides a beautiful place to relax and take in the views.
