Salkantay Trek - Peru 🇵🇪
Day Four!
Last day trekking!
6am wake up - standard whore bath to get the day started! Oh and woke up with a swollen eye so you know it was gonna be a good day 🥲
It was about a 400m trek down which took us around 2.5 hours and it was sooooo muddy! Lucky we had hiking poles or I know I would have 100% fallen!
We had a doggo follow us from camp because he was looking for his friend 🥹
He was scared of bridges so our guide carried him across - we eventually had to part ways as he couldn’t come all the way into town with us (apparently he would be killed and potentially eaten 😳) so the last bridge we said our goodbyes and he followed another group going the other way!
