✨ MEET THE FUNDRAISER ✨ On the 19th of September Sohail swam half a kilometre at Sparth Reservoir. What makes this more impressive is that Sohail has only recently learned to swim & did this swim to raise money for Imara. We asked Sohail a few questions about fundraising for Imara. Why did you choose to raise money for Imara? S: I believe it is a worthwhile charity that does good work around an issue that is becoming ever more of a pressing concern within society around the wellbeing of children & their families who have suffered abuse. What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of fundraising for Imara? S: Get as many friends involved in supporting what you are doing. Especially through social media in reposting the event. Do frequent posts & updates about how you are progressing in leading up to the challenge. A short video with updates setting out what you are doing & why is good always helps in getting the message across.
