So here’s the thing... I don’t think you actually need confidence to achieve success. I DEFINITELY wasn’t confident in pretty much anything when we started Quest. I had no idea what I was doing and was pretty much sh*t scared of failing most of the time. I was out of my element and I knew it. But I was determined not to lose my house and just stubborn enough to keep going. And in that process I realized that getting to your goal isn’t about having the confidence. “I’ve had more energy to do things with my little lad, & my family life has never been so good” Jimmy has completely changed his life around this past 6 months on my programme, not just physically but mentally 🧠📈 Jimmy was drinking 4-5 cans every single night, working 6 days a week and making poor choices when it came to his nutrition. A trap many people get stuck in. He had no motivation or drive to do anything with his family on his days off, mentally he wasn’t in a great place and needed to break that cycle. I wrote Jimmy a balanced meal plan with foods he enjoys and although he was dieting i actually increased his food slowly for the first month before starting to bring it back down. Jimmy was doing 3/4 days at the gym focusing on improving every single session. #throwback because I feel like a completely different person than who I was a short year and a half ago. . The craziest thing I have learned about #confidence is... no one knows if it's real or not. The most #successful women around us still have times of doubt, and yet they show up, despite the noise, because they understand that it's all about #mindset. There are going to be so many days of feeling like a failure. One day, you can be on top of the world and another day something can happen that makes you want to just give up. No matter what your goal is, physical, career, family, etc.. there will be days when the imposter syndrome comes swooping in.
