I've been HYPED all week to attempt squat & bench ATPRs. i PR'ed (0.5kg each, yay) but with RTS programming's emphasis on RPE, i wasn't happy with how these moved: hip shot up on squat (vid2), bench moved steady but slooooow ๐Ÿฆฅ several nights of poor sleep & my weight cut may have contributed to these results. but i think the biggest factor was mental: I've only touched 190 and 130 once each; i attempted these nervously. if training continues on this trajectory, I'll likely attempt multiple PRs in April (@ukiyohawaii Kane Classic #12weeksout). the coming weeks will be opportunities to train my mindset.
