Give me $20k and I'll turn it into $100k. 💥 . Bold statement for a home that sat on market 97 days just last year (during a way hotter market) and closed for nearly $150k less than the original list price... here's the scoop. . Our Milton seller bought this home in 2022 with another agent, and had big plans to create a small hobby-farm in horse country. Plans changed, and in less than a year, he wanted to sell, with his biggest request being to not lose money. The home needed some work, and nothing had changed since he bought it, so it was hard to justify a price that would give any kind of decent ROI. . We discussed two options: 1) get it to market in its' current condition, and anticipate a slow sale + possibly a break even or loss 😱, or, 2) put some money into it, give it a refresh, stage it, and present an entirely new home to market. The seller gave me a $20,000 budget and went with option 2. Proud to report that not only did he not lose money, we sold it for over $100k more than he bought it for just one year prior. . Since 1997, this organization has provided $2,150,000 in scholarships for students, grants for TEACHERS 🙌🙌, and grants to local nonprofits. The home tour is their main fundraiser, and tickets are only $30. It seems most new developments in Roswell are townhomes — (marketed as “affordable” 😂😂) so they’ve selected local designers to deck the halls of townhomes— Harlow townhomes off Old Roswell Rd — Any fundraisers benefiting teachers is a home run in my book.
