She is an inspirational leader who has led many campaigns including the recent march against the Edmonton incinerator in September 2021 in Enfield. This campaign is against environmental racism which we believe is deliberate and strategic. She fearlessly led the march down the North Circular Rd where we successfully shut down the traffic for a couple of hours. Delia was also a key organiser for the Kill The Bill Official national days of action which started in April 2021. This high profile national action would not have been as successful without her contribution. She used this platforn to highlight grassroots campaigning groups and gave us the opportunity to highlight the issues that we campaign on. More recently Delia has joined the People's Assembly national days of action and was a keynote speaker at several events at the October United Against The Tories campaign in Manchester including this Women Will Not Be Silenced event where she represents black females in our communities unapologetically. She platformed BLM groups and black led campaigning organisations alongside her to continue to raise awareness.
