Multiple Sclerosis is a disease that impacts the brain and spinal cord which make up the central nervous system and controls everything we do. . And what causes MS? 🌿 Today is EARTH DAY 🌱 and this years theme is 🌏 Invest in our Plant 🌍 so we thought we'd share 5 ideas on how you can Invest in our Planet today, and every day... . 🌳 Use the internet, not trees. Make the most of online forms and tools, and reduce unnecessary printing. . 🗑 Pick up rubbish while you walk and run! This is increasingly important with the excessive use of single-use masks. Just make sure you give your hands a good wash after. . 🍝 Eat more plant-based options. A simple change - swapping out mince for lentils & mushrooms in your bolognaise (your wallet will thank you too!) . 👗 Shop second hand. In Perth, our op-shops are great, not only for good second-hand clothes, but also homewares. So, before you head to Kmart, check out your local Vinnies first. . 🪴 Plant your own herbs. Herbs like basil and parsley are super easy to grow both indoors and outdoors, so you have fresh herbs whenever you need (plus no single-use plastic from buying them at the shops!) .
