Oh Lord we love You, worship You and are forever grateful for Your word. We believe Your word as truth and we seek to live according to it daily. Your word teaches us that we are all uniquely gifted by You. We thank You for our gifts and ask that You help us to boldly use them for Your glory. Father, thank You for blessing us in every area of our lives! As we reflect over our journeys, we are instantly filled with gratitude and in a state of awe by Your constant demonstrations of love. This week as we study a giving spirit, we are grateful for the ways You instruct us to give; joyfully, generously, often and for Your glory. Even when we don’t feel we have anything to give, You provide in abundance and we are most grateful. Thank You for teaching us that it is better to give than to receive. Journaling, I believe is more than rants and venting out emotions more over about intentionally planning the day out, choosing the activities to turn into positive habits that shapes us to who we want to become and create the habits that are not only productive but also that adds on to our daily gratitude. I did have my challenges of being disturbed continually to sit and journal having people at home or at work or too much noise to bring the consistency in me to feel the change it brings when I started with @brightsidejournal and I still have challenges at times, however it did get me to where I am today, moreover where we are - my Husband & I today to host and connect with people from all around at our home - @aborstays ! Oh what a privilege it is to study and understand Your word Father. Thank You for granting us understanding as we study Your living word. We are grateful for the Holy Spirit who stirs up Your word within us and reminds us of it at the appropriate time. Thank You, Father for allowing us to grow spiritually and be empowered by Your word. We read in the story of Jesus in the wilderness how He boldly stood on Your word. Even when the enemy tried to use Your word falsely, Jesus remained committed to Your truth and was victorious. This is one example of the power of Your word and we are encouraged by it. As we study Your word we are strengthening our faith muscles while be guided and corrected in righteous living. Father, Your word empowers us daily so we too can stand boldly on it in every situation just like Jesus. As we continue our study on Lent, we position ourselves to learn from Jesus’ example. We understand the importance of studying Your word regularly and allowing it to take root within us. Forgive us Father, for allowing other things to occupy so much of our time that we don’t have quality time in Your word. As we position ourselves before You today, we ask that You show us how to better manage our time so we regularly spend quality time with You. With loving, grateful and teachable hearts we pray this prayer in Jesus name, Amen. Oh what a privilege it is to trust in You, Father. Through our journey You have been beyond faithful and we can confidently say we trust not only in You, but Your love, process, will and timing. You are our solid Rock in which we firmly stand. We are grateful for the various ways in which You love us and allow us to share Your love with others. Despite our mistakes and hurts, You have allowed us to still experience love and we are most grateful. As we journey, we ask that You open our eyes to those in need of love. Use us to show them the power of Your love. Love comes from You, Father and as Your daughters we aren’t ashamed to share just how much Your love has corrected, healed, restored and transformed our lives.
