Do you love meditation just as much as I do? Save this post and let’s talk about meditation in education process! I know there are some language coaches reading me, so I wonder, dear colleagues, do you meditate with your clients? I remember the times when I dreamt about conducting meditation with my clients, today I do! I started incorporating meditation into my teaching and coaching process however, sometimes it wasn’t easy. I think the word ‘meditation’ wrapped in a bunch of myths had negative connotation some time ago. I even made a series of videos debunking meditation myths! 🔥 (see in stories) I remember I taught ‘breathing exercise’ to a group of very intelligent young people before an assignment that required concentration, we had a short session of breathing with awareness and started the test. They loved it! They even asked me the following week if we were going to do the exercise again! I continue benefiting from meditation in (virtual) classroom, bringing my clients into alignment with each other in the group, helping them to connect to themselves in 1-1 sessions, activating their creativity and imagination (so important for language acquisition), creating space and the attitude of acceptance of their mistakes.
