Yesterday I had a chance to relive a big part of my youth. I spent a lot of time in an arcade in downtown Brantford between the ages of 13 and 17. I played a lot of video games there as well as pinball games. Pinbot (pictured) was my favourite pinball game in the arcade. When a friend (Jason) of @lifeunjaded told her he was getting into pinball machines I told her to tell him my favourite machine was Pinbot. Jason quickly replied with a picture of himself standing infront of one of his new machines, and you guessed it, it was Pinbot! It took us a few weeks to arrange a time to get together and check out his games, and yesterday was the day. I was both giddy and speechless. What a day! Day 24 - Puppers Golden Lager from Letterkenny and Collaberation Brews Co in eight major cities in Canada. Not sure if you can tell but the top of the can has a gold tint to it as opposed to the silver of every other can from the advent this year. It's a lager, and tastes like one. It's associated with Letterkenny, which is hilarious. But most importantly, it's one of Ruby's old nicknames. Boy we miss that dog ♡. There is also a bonus alliteration paragraph on the back of the can. Those who've been following along may remember my poor attempt at alliteration early on in the advent, they've outdone me here. Day 19 - Fracture Juicy Imperial IPA from Amsterdam Brewery in Toronto, ON. The can says All Hail the King of Hops. The alcohol percentage is 9.5! The can also says it's double dry-hopped with cryohops, whatever those are. It does taste Juciy though, but it's not overpowering. Would recommend. Oh, the glass was an obvious choice.
