Gus and #chipmunks and #squirrels -- I didn't get any pictures of Ollie and I should have. Ollie had an important day. He came to Gus because he couldn't find the fountain he wanted. The Butler had put all the inside fountains⛲ in the dish washer. Ollie was so upset. I told him he could go on the balcony and use the outside fountain. As I walked to the craft room, Ollie ran because that's where his fountain is supposed to be. He stopped at that spot. "WHERE IS IT?" I propped open the outside door. "Can you go out and use the one out there? You used to like it." Gus showed up. Both of them went out and Ollie did use the fountain (algae and all as he used to) without any hissing at each other. That strange cat has really irritated them. Gus licked some potting soil. Eventually all of us went out to feed the critters and it was so great to see Ollie enjoying himself. Gus gets B on his report card. He half-heartedly chased a #chipmunk and also decided to rest in the neighbor's yard to eat their grass. Alas, I must go now after a full day with no break until after 5pm because now I have to login for a staff meeting. #Tired

So @twoeightmusic, the ministry I work with, had a big night last night downtown at @heirloom.indy for our #MissionISPossible Gala fundraiser event. Our mission is to create music and moments that move people, and I believe we did exactly that. There are lots of truly great people who contributed to helping us pull off our best-executed and most significant event to date, and even more amazing people who came to see us tell our story and do what we do best - throw Indy’s best #PartyWithAPurpose. Well, in my opinion, anyway. And they helped us raise ~$84,000 for our work. I was on my feet from 7:00am to midnight, and my feet still hurt at 6:00pm today. I got to spend a total of *maybe* 20 meaningful minutes with my wife and daughters over the whole evening, but thanks to the incomparable @meganmellinger.creative team, we got great media and a new family photo out of the deal. :-) #grateful #tired #musicwithamission #gala #recoveryispossible #mentalhealth #nonprofit #nextgeneration #livemusic
