She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as in Psychology and was in healthcare for five years prior to nursing. Your baby is growing (a lot!): In the early months, newborns typically gain weight, grow in length, and their head circumference increases as their brain develops. They experience increased muscle control, and you will notice the beginning of mobility (rolling)💨 Your baby is using her senses to understand the world: Newborns start to focus on objects and faces, track movements with their eyes, and begin recognizing familiar voices. They become more responsive to sounds, showing preferences for certain tones or voices. You'll likely see a social smile during the first 12 weeks 😍 Your baby will adapt to sleep patterns: Initially, newborns have irregular sleep patterns, but over the first three months, they begin to develop more predictable sleep-wake cycles.
