~All these are my style, and I buy accordingly. However for the most part due to my obesity, and metabolic syndrome from Hypothyroidism, typically I am unable to source many ‘looks’ in my size (20-22). Oh, how I fondly recall the days when I was a size 10…(13years ago). Age and accrued weight sneaks up on you,….the march of time. I’d love to drop weight, enabling myself to buy more stylish pieces that would fit, if only I could. But my shape is set due to health reasons. Destined to eat and die alone, lol. I purchase pieces when I can find a fitting size, but then again they look stretched across my expanse (KnockOutRack). It’s age,…yes, I do care, but then again I’m not so self-conscious of it as in my stick-thin boney twenties. When you enter middle age, you join the age group club of embracing your flaws and deficits. Everyone is welcome and ‘over’ their twenties ego. We all unite together as one mind of experience and wisdom. Yes, It would be stupendous to rock a fit, in-shape little body of one’s youth again, but I wouldnt want to be young now, but for a year or less. Serious Dating for the younger generations is a nightmare. Glad I’m in my forties. Got to experience growing up before the Internet. Eighties and Nineties, last great decades for economics and social/pop culture. As well as social cohesion and unification of groups/cultures. Everything now is fractured beyond resemblance. Nothing unites anyone.
