4/21 NOLA Concierge told us we needed to checkout the aquarium right next to the hotel. Since we had a few hours before our ✈️ we took their advice. These videos don't do justice to the size of the tarpon, grouper and redfish you'll see. One reddish had over 10 spots on each side and was so beautiful to see how big they can get. They are definitely well cared for and although we weren't expecting it to be so busy... it's definitely something I would recommend for my animal lovers. The hubby was definitely overwhelmed by all the kiddos, but if you visit new orleans it's walking distance from anywhere and right off the Riverwalk. It was harder then I thought to capture fish behind you in a selfie 😆 I just realized a few were facing the camera just like me. Ihr Ruf ist super und das auch mit recht, daher möchte ich euch heute diesen tollen Account genauer vorstellen. Biene von @samija_aquaristik ist als "Münchner Kindl" definitiv nicht mehr grün hinter den Ohren. Mit ihren 15 Aquarien besitzt die gelernte Versicherungskauffrau Biene viel Erfahrung. Sie lebt mittlerweile ja auch seit 12 Jahren in Ansbach. Sowohl beruflich als auch aquaristisch ist Biene ein echtes "Mädchen für alles". Von Biotopaquaristik mit toller Bepflanzung, Personalmanagement, Fischzucht, IT-Themen und AquaScaping. Sie kümmert sich dabei sowohl um das Wohl der Fische und Kunden hingebungsvoll. Aber auch wenn @samija_aquaristik schon seit der frühsten Kindheit in der Aquaristik aktiv ist, sagt sie selbst, dass sie nie auslernt. Besonders reizvoll findet Biene die eher kleineren Arten in der Aquaristik. So hat sie auch mal ungewöhnliche Bewohner, wie die Rhinogobius oder Goldringelgrundeln. Biene von @samija_aquaristik ist jedoch, wie so viele in dem Hobby, vom Multiple-Tank-Syndrome befallen. Daher kann die kein Lieblingsfisch nennen. Im Interview verrät sie aber, dass sie eine Leidenschaft für Hunde besitzt. Bei Biene lebt nämlich noch Beaglehündin Emmi, welche eine Treue Begleitung darstellt. Damit endet die Tierliebe von @samija_aquaristik jedoch nicht. Aktuell haben ihre Phelsuma quadriocellata nämlich das erste Mal Nachwuchs bekommen. Aber auch bei @samija_aquaristik gab es schon Situationen wo selbst die erfahrene Biene ein paar Becken sie "an den Rand der Verzweiflung" gebracht haben. Sei es durch Algen, Erkrankungen oder ungewollte Begleitfauna. Doch zum Glück gibt es den Austausch innerhalb der Community, welche über solche Situationen hinweg hilft. Den Austausch mit gleichgesinnten schätzt Biene nämlich sehr. So kann sie sich bei dem abwechslungsreichen Hobby bestens entspannen und findet einen guten Ausgleich. Bei @samija_aquaristik gibt es davon nämlich immer wieder hochwertige Bilder zu entdecken. Das kann ich euch in dem Fall versichern!

Let’s talk about why I took such a long break from rescuing bettas. Long story short— I stopped being able to adopt out healthy fish. No one wanted them. I reached the point where I couldn’t bring in new fish if I wasn’t moving out old fish. I’ve seen rescues hit this point before and not slow down their intakes, leading to overcrowding and even hoarding. I didn’t want that to happen to me so I simply stopped taking in new fish until the shipping season reopened in spring. And now I have Sunshine getting ready to move out except that he’s a basic yellow veiltail and I fear the pattern will simply start over again. The reality is a lot of my rescues are not desirable fish. #miyajima #hiroshima #sightseeing #tourism #heritage #shrine #itukushima shrine #aquarium #bento #obento #広島 #宮島 #厳島神社 #水族館 #駅弁. ・・・が、やはり人は多かったです。 宮島が世界遺産でもあるせいか、やはり外国の方が多く、英語、スペイン語、フィリピン、韓国他といろんな言葉が飛んでいました。 行きはのんびりとローカルで行きましたが、帰りに新幹線に乗るため、広島駅行きの路面電車乗ったところ・・・ほぼ８割が外国人という感じでびっくりでした。（こちらの乗り場も刷新されていてびっくり） 歩きすぎて腰が結構痛かったのですが、自分より少し年配の２組のご夫婦連れの奥様に席を譲りましたが、社内はあっという間に超満員。 １時間ちょっと、腰が痛いのを我慢しつつ立ったまま広島駅まで。 で、そのまま緑の窓口に行くと・・・こちらも長蛇の列でした。 そのせいか、予定より２０分遅い新幹線に乗って戻りました。 まあでも、一度は行って見たかった宮島の水族館だったので、よかったです。 そこまで種類は多くはなかったのですが、なかなか楽しめました。 晩御飯は、もちろんまだまだマイブームの駅弁。（広島駅で購入） 写真は別口で、また買ったおみやげの写真（乙女パトロールに検挙されそうですが）もアップします。
