We braved the wet weather on Saturday for what turned out to be the gorgeous wedding of Zoe and Tim at the ever lovely @arleyhouse_events 💞 From first meeting them at a wedding open day at the venue a while back, through to shooting their engagement shoot in the spring, I knew I was going to love this day. Tim is in the military in the Parachute Regiment, so donned his impressive uniform ready to greet Zoe - who is possibly the smiliest bride I've worked with this year 😁 - at the end of the aisle. The rain didn't dampen our spirits (sorry, I'm rubbish at puns 😆) and we made the most of it by having a super fun confetti throw indoors - SO much confetti!! - and later we managed to venture out into the stunning Italian Gardens for some beautiful couple moments later in the afternoon. Two guesses were we have been today! Yes that’s right, our venue @arleyweddings - this wasn’t it today. In fact this was it went we went earlier in the year. Today, they were setting up for a wedding at the weekend and they’re having the same colours as us! So it’s was amazing to see. I didn’t get any photos but it was magical. This weekend we were invited to visit @gbfoodfestival at @arleyhallandgardens - as autumn is in the air it felt like the last summer family fun event we would go to; and it’s the last of the #gbfoodfestival series of 10 events that have been all over the country in 2021! We had a great time- they are fab events for all ages and have such a great vibe. Charlie loved the circus toys and the trampolines! ⭐ T h e C r u c k B a r n ⭐ This Grade 1 listed building built in 1469 is the most rustic at @arleyhallandgardens and definitely my favourite although there are plenty of other structures to see. The word 'cruck' is the name given to the timber trusses used to construct the main frame of which there are seven.
