Motherhood is such a trip. You can't really prepare for it. Every step is foreign and yet somehow you know what to do (at least in the early stages). I became a mom in Spain. We were alone, away from both of our families in a foreign country and experiencing something so new. My first (and most important, as she used to like to say) child was born in Madrid ONE DAY before Spanish Mother's Day. I had never felt love like that. I used to just sit and stare at my baby and wonder how can I protect you from EVERYTHING? I think it's the purest form of love so that you will be willing to do what you have to do to keep them alive and completely forgo yourself. And forgo I did. I was the classic self- sacrificial mom. No clue why. I just felt that's what I had to do. Years later I would regret this, but at the time, it was all I could do. I so admire moms that manage to prioritize themselves, their fitness and mental health and career goals. Maybe that's why maternity sessions are so special to me? Let's talk Branding. What does a branding shoot mean? Ultimately, it means you get enough content so anytime you want to use an image of yourself online, you have one for at least a year. Just wanted to give a fair warning that your cheeks will probably hurt from smiling after our shoot.
