So... 5 hours and 128 foils later HERE WE ARE. I've done quite a few bombshell-blondes, but this might just be my new favorite. The money piece... the tone.. the blend.. UGH, IT'S TOO FREAKING AWESOME. We did slices up the back then went back in between every 2 foils and tipped-out her ends with a heavy tease. For the top, we did micro-slices and very fine subsections. Then, for the sides, we did heavy weaves and also fine subsections. We gave her a super bright money piece, and then we went to the bowl. I did a soap-cap using @aveda lightener, 20v, and their detox shampoo, and let it sit for about 10 mins just to lift through some old toner build-up. Then, I toned using @aveda demi color, 10n, 0n, and light ashe. I toned her ends and mids first and then I applied it to her money piece since she processes VERY quickly. Next, we washed using @aveda Botanical Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. Next, we went back to the chair and styled using @aveda Botanical Repair Bond Building Styling Cream and the Smooth Infusion Perfect Blow Dry Spray. We used her natural color as her lowlight using @aveda hair color 8nn and 7nc. We did pull that color through to her ends where we could, but with her ends being so solid, we need MOREEEEE (which is why I'm so excited to do a full next time). For the highlights, I did a slice dollowed by a very close baby-light. Then for her lowlight I applied it using just a slice and leaving a very few hairs inbetween for the next highlight. We also packed in the blonde up front with NO lowlight since she wanted a super bright money-piece. For her toner, we used @aveda demi color 10n, 0n, and lught ashe to cancel out warm tones and give her a nice bright beige. We washed and conditioned using the @aveda Botanical Repair Line, and then I took her back to the chair to style. For her blow-out, we used the @aveda Botanical Repair Bond Building Styling Cream, Smooth Infusion Perfect Blow Dry Spray, and the Speed of Light Blow Dry Spray.
