Great location close to the airport and many of the activities we planned. The house was very well appointed for all of our needs, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, and plenty of space for 2 families of 4. The kids loved the Hideaways pool and beach with fantastic snorkeling right off the beach. We also rented a boat from Minns (5 min from house) and a car from Berlies (near airport) and beebopped to several beaches, reefs, and islands. At the beginning, the communication with the owner was early and often. Les iguanes des Exumas Les Exumas sont un chapelet d'îles ou l'eau est (apparemment) la plus claire du monde. Au-delà des paysages idylliques, ces îles renferment un mystère encore non résolu : la présence d'animaux endémiques, présents depuis des siècles sans que l'on comprenne pourquoi ils ont atteri là. Les iguanes en font parti. Ces lézard géants à crête vivent au rythme des îles, se dorant la pilule au soleil et se delectant de fruits à longueur de journée. Les Bahamas, surprise de 2023 Je n'avais jamais inscrit les Bahamas sur ma dreamlist. Je n'avais même jamais envisagé y aller un jour. Ce sont les tournois de Julien qui nous ont conduits ici. Il va de soi que quand j'ai su que leur hiver etait a 25°, j'ai quelque peu encouragé Julien à ne surtout pas manquer ces tournois 😂 Ce pays s'est révélé être une incroyable découverte. #throwback 😎 Best souvenir de 2019 : notre voyage aux @iles_des_bahamas avec @detailsofperrine 🌴🌊 Pour les coulisses de cette photo sur #pinksandbeach à Harbour Island (où le sable est vraiment rose) j'avais calé mon appareil photo sur le porte bagage de l'autre vélo. On a réussi à avoir quelques clichés décents, mais finalement un couple qui se baladait sur la plage quasi déserte nous a vu galérer et ils nous ont proposé leur aide. Cette photo a été prise par eux 👍 Même si nous sommes restées environ 10min à shooter, le soleil cognait tellement qu'on a réussi à bien cramer des épaules et du dos...
