Shout out to @banfieldpethospital in Spring, Texas!!! We trapped two pregnant cats (both are only a year old), so they could deliver their babies safely away from predators. I was concerned about one of the kittens, but we don’t have the money to cover vet bills. They offered to take a look at the kitten, using a voucher/coupon to cover the bill, so it would not cost us anything for an exam. Everything is good, and the concerning issue with one of the babies can be remedied at home. They gave us a couple supplies and instructions and sent us on our way with a positive report on all the babies and mama, all at no charge! They made recommendations for us as we begin planning the foster/home-search for the babies, and the spay/release goal for the two moms. They were so helpful, as they always are with our own cats, clearly recognizing our efforts to help control the cat population in our area.
