Причем все эти наборы стояли в два раза дороже, но я решила купить себе два таких набора. По прилету домой я начала вышивать первую картину из бисера и поняла что мне это по душе! Моя первая работа из бисера называлась ‘День и Ночь’. Я снова влюбилась в бисер! Так я и нашла свое новое хобби длиною в более чем 10 лет! On my next trip to Moscow, I went to the store as usual. Store called ‘needles and thread’, I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty and choice of goods for handmade. As I walked past the shelves, I saw a girl choosing beads sets and I was interested in. At that time the choice of beaded sets was not large. Also all this beads sets was twice expensive than cross -stitches sets. I decided to buy 2 sets for myself. When I got back home, I started new and my first project with beads. My first beads project called ‘ Day and Night’. At the end of the project I realized that I do like it ! I’ve been meaning to post some Bead Project memories; after leading five cycles I am taking a step back and will no longer be the BP Director. This was a tough decision because it’s been one of the most amazing & rewarding work/teaching experiences of my life. Between planning demos, field trips, visiting artists, guest speakers, and getting everyone to the trunk show, ten slides does not cut it! The gratitude students expressed kept me going and in many ways the program changed my life, too. I’m glad that I will still be involved in the program through participation in the Bead Project Alumni Panel. Thank you everyone in the studio @urbanglass_nyc as well as the EDU team for being amazing coworkers! And a huge thanks to all the TAs, students, the alumni who return… you made this experience incredible and you make the program everything that it is.
