She is incorporating faceted gemstones with printed illustrations for her wearable artwork. Karen Kriegel‘s presented collection introduces glass to her practice with clear, organic forms that are reminiscent of her fluid metal structures. Kathryn Kirk Murphy often uses mirrors and reflection in her work to distort and confront reflection. This collection expands off of her production line of repurposed mirrors by adding a layer of distortion with clear glass beads to warp the image of the viewer. Maria Aroche has been working in glass for more than 15 years and continues her creative journey by making an entirely clear collection that adds color through the alchemical inclusion of gold and silver. MY COUNTRY (TR)” PROJECT MANIFESTO: DoArt Art Gallery announces an exhibition called "My Country", which brings together a global art community and features works from artists from every country. This exhibition aims to create a comprehensive art platform by bringing together the universal language of art, cultures, perspectives and stories of different countries. Each artist will participate with four 15x15 CM works, which will present a unique perspective on the artist's home country. Artists will not be subject to any restrictions on material and subject matter; they will be able to freely express their own stories, perceptions and identities with their creativity. If an artist's work is sold, the artist will be asked to create a new work and add it to the exhibition in order to ensure the continuity of the project. This approach ensures that the project remains in a dynamic structure and is constantly evolving. The exhibition will first be held at the DoArt Gallery in Istanbul and will then be exhibited in different countries. The final goal is to create a large collection of works by outstanding artists from all over the world and turn this collection into a global art exhibition. "My Country" aims to create intercultural dialogue, celebrate the universal power of art and create a platform for diversity by giving artists the freedom to express their own stories and countries. We invite all artists and art lovers to share our goal of bringing together a world-class art community. Here is my simple pencil drawing that I completed last weekend. It is based on an old photograph that my father took many years ago. The subject is an old family home located in Pakehoe, near Oparure Road in Waitomo, New Zealand. My great uncle, Don Buchanan, was born in this house. The Buchanan family managed over 4,000 acres of farmland in the area, and it was also where my great uncle went to school. Waitomo, located in the North Island of New Zealand, is a small town known for its stunning natural beauty and unique geological formations. The area is home to the Waitomo Caves, a network of limestone caves that are a popular tourist destination. Visitors can take guided tours of the caves to see the thousands of glowworms that light up the caverns like stars in the night sky. The Waitomo area is also known for its lush green farmland and beautiful countryside. The town is surrounded by rolling hills and is situated on the banks of the Waitomo River. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll along the river or go hiking in the nearby hills to take in the stunning scenery. The Waitomo region is also rich in Maori culture, and visitors can learn about the local history and customs by visiting the nearby Marakopa Falls, a sacred site for the Maori people, or by taking a cultural tour led by a local Maori guide. .Imagination landscape drawing with waterfall. They say that you should never give up, and that's exactly what I did with the waterfall. It took several attempts, more than enough for someone to say. Oh hell with it. But I was determine to get it right, no matter how long it was going to take me. With no reference photos to guide me, it certainly was a challenge. The funny thing was, It all came together after I stopped worrying about the outcome. This New Zealand landscape was created on a piece of A4.
