The worship of goddess Kali has a deep root in Bengal that goes back to the 17th century, and the temple is an important part of that history. After watching this movie, I am in love with those women who are famous for so-called chudail, witches, bitches names. Because in reality, they are those victims fighting for their rights, but patriarchy portrayed these saviors in bad light naming them chudail, demon, bitches, etc. People worship Goddesses but they never stand up for those Goddesses in real life. Because they worship on a superficial level. It's a shame for those women who already passed this kind of phase in their life, and instead of working on themselves, supporting others, they are projecting their traumas to other women. In this story wrong happened to Binodini too, but instead of supporting and helping Bulbul she chose a patriarchal pattern and doing the same things to Bulbul, which people did to her. The movie shows clearly how people provoke you to show your Kali side, once you show them your ugly side, they play the victim and made you a bad person in the whole story. People who never have healthy boundaries for themselves, they will never understand the healthy boundaries for others. People who don't have control over their life or relationships, they will try to control your life and relationships. So don't play narcissistic or victims' games because this is the era of awakening. Awakening women are like blooming flowers and thunderstorms. Awakening women can be a naive innocent and powerful confident too. The world is awakening to a powerful truth.
