Center Plans Pension And BISP Funds Reduction In Budget 2024-25 Federal government to announce stringent measures in the 2024-25 budget to curtail expenses, including significant cuts in pensions except for defense, civil armed forces, and police personnel, cessation of funding for provincial development projects, and cost-sharing of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) with provinces. A panel recommended these measures to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as per sources within the Cabinet Division. Last month, a seven-member committee, led by the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, was formed to devise a practical plan for reducing government expenditure. The committee’s recommendations aim to slash government expenditure by up to Rs300 billion annually. Dr. Kaiser Bengali conducted a study on the size of the federal government, while Dr. Farrukh Saleem assessed proposals to reduce spending on Pakistani missions abroad. ذرائع کے مطابق وزیراعظم ریلیف پیکیج کے تحت 5 بنیادی اشیاءپر سبسڈی برقرار رہے گی، چینی،آٹا،گھی،دالوں اورچاول پربی آئی ایس پی صارفین کوسبسڈی ملے گی۔ وزیراعظم ریلیف پیکیج کے تحت ماہانہ تقریبا3 ارب روپے کی سبسڈی دی جائے گی، یوٹیلیٹی سٹورزپر بی آئی ایس پی صارفین کے لیے چینی کی قیمت 109روپے فی کلو ہوگی، بی آئی ایس پی صارفین کیلئے 10 کلو آٹے کا تھیلا 648 روپے میں دستیاب ہوگا۔ ذرائع نے بتایا کہ بی آئی ایس پی صارفین کے لیے گھی کی فی کلو قیمت 393 روپے مقرر کی گئی ہے، بی آئی ایس پی صارفین کو دالوں اورچاول پرفی کلو 25 روپے سبسڈی ملے گی۔ذرائع کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ یوٹیلیٹی سٹورز پروزیر اعظم پیکیج جون 2024 تک جاری رکھنے کا پلان ہے، آئندہ مالی سال کیلئے وزیر اعظم پیکیج جاری رکھنے سے متعلق فیصلہ وفاقی حکومت کرے گی۔ #PrimeMinister's #reliefpackage #Islamabad #Ramadan #BISP #monthlysubsidy #Sources #customers
