2021/09/27 It wasn't the first time I have stopped at this sign but it was the first time I bothered to read it and look at the map. That said the old pyrite mine was directly across the road from me. . A mound of dirt means it's not visible from the road but I thought I have a drone, I can fly over that and I did. Still new to the drone most of the photos were on a setting that was very very white. I touched a few up with Faststaone Image Viewer, a program I initially installed to put time stamps on my gopro time lapse photos. These days I do so much more with it and made a donation to the creator. . To this day I have no idea what pyrite is or what it's used for. In my ride report I did say I saw nothing in Brukunga but this town sign. . That is true, but I return to this very spot later in the year, read the sign about the pyrite mine, which was at this spot but not visible from the road and pop the drone up for a look from above.
