They've got this awesome bond with their babies that's all about love, protection, and a whole lot of snuggling. From day one, mama camels are like mum superstars, showering their little ones with all the TLC they need. Baby camels stay with their mums until they wean themselves at about 12-18 months of age. "My hubby and I took our three grandchildren out again to the Summer Lands Camel Farm. They have been asking for months to go there again. This was their 4th trip however this time I booked to do the hour tour with taste testing. They really enjoyed the day there and learnt so much. Always a pleasure going there as I have taken a couple of friend out there too, been 8 times so far, this was the 5th tour I have done! Next visit I will get the kids to do the Camel Rides. Fortunately we weren't directly affected by flooding - the flooded creeks just made it impossible for visitors, and some staff, to get to the farm.
