Cardenas is moving away. We met her March 18, 2017 and last Friday she went on her last walk with us. It was her 1,468th walk as a wanderpup. For almost the entire seven years she walked with us, she had Supe for her midday walks and Bernie for her evenings. Cardenas found her forever family in 2015 after living in a shelter for her first 2.5 years. We are so happy she was rescued and we had the pleasure of helping to take care of Cardenas all these years. Our notes say to avoid other dogs at all costs when out with Cardenas because she will lose her shit 😂 But when walking WITH other dogs she’s totally fine. All of us agree that the best part of walking Cardenas is how excited she gets. So excited that she often works herself into sneezing fits. Her little howls were always fun too. And she is an expert treat catcher. All caught on camera by our master photographer, Supe, of course. Thanks for the memories Cardenas, and best of luck in your new hood.
