I was messing with my bushings and decided to mix and match the medium and hard together. I was getting accustomed today. I still look so stiff and not happy most of the time looool. It's my concentration face sadly. I've noticed I should probably make eye contact with the camera and relax, I look so stiff and uncomfortable. I think I may do a whole music video style skate video next time on the 360 camera. Spent a lot of today practicing falling outside by taking a knee. Which saved my ass when I felt wobbly and made me so much more confident skating outside, I’ve made it become muscle memory to take a knee now. Also, finally found the sweet spot with my balance. I think I’m going to have to rediscover that again once my Bonts arrive. My toe guards look well loved from all the knee falls I did today which is exactly their purpose! Didn’t feel a thing! That’s the beauty of good quality knee pads, they do well to cushion the fall for you. I had a great time! I spent a whole hour out today! My inner thighs and quadriceps are sore from that and even my back isn’t used to a skater stance yet. Weather was banging! I’m not even done yet! Side surfing really is one of my favourite moves. I first skated when I was very young and the side surf was one of the first tricks that I learned. I learned it before quite a few of my friends and the time and I was so proud of myself, maybe one of my greatest achievements 😂 But really, It put a massive smile on my face, and it gave me a bit of respect among the older kids and adults when I would side surf around the rink, earning my roller rink strips. Soon after came my backwards skating and powerstops to give me at least a couple more tricks. It might have been freezing but the ground was dry so we took our ramp on a little trip to the local car park. It didn’t take long for my son to get chilly though. I popped back again later to have some fun rolling up and down a curb.
