HELP YOUR CHILD TO LEARN Grown ups making PAPER STAINED GLASS WINDOWS at Hannah More Primary School this morning. We looked at the book Amazing Mums by @sparklygabs & @hannahkbroadway and made some beautiful windows to make the most of the sunshine. If you know someone that would like to get involved give her a shout ♥️ This week at Art Clubs we’re making these cardboard and paper trees “A tree made of trees!” said B, aged 7. We made a trunk that could stand up by itself (and figured out some cardboard ‘brackets’ did the trick to help it stay that way) and added branches before filling our trees with all kinds of colour. We had paper leaves, flowers, hearts, birdies, rabbits, puppies, bugs, bank notes… It got me thinking of Enid Blyton’s Magic Faraway Tree. WORLD BOOK DAY ART CLUBS I spent today in my local infants’ school getting creative with nearly 180 kids! I worked with Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children to create artwork that will make 3 big displays in school. The children had been looking at books on a theme which fed into our art activities today.
