It's a wrap and time to head back to my homies @whereisjase and @yapdawgs in Alabang! I have to say that I have a new found respect for charts and graphs. To be honest, I would delegate to others the task of creating monthly deck, as much as possible, to escape those boring, default charts which I felt no one really cares about. I would rather deal with Severity 2 or 1 application support issues than make them. But thanks to this #DataStorytelling training by #Dataseer, I can finally bring some life to those numbers, tell a story ... "Of magic, and spiralling ships and stars in the sky" (Wolfgang lyrics of Pinoy Rockband). The teaching method is light yet deliberate and necessary. They spotlight on those vulnerabilities head-on and bold in using real-life examples. Group activities are fun yet challenging. I just wish they also allotted some time for individual practice since my brain is still processing and want to try it on my own before collaborating with others. Also, it marries two of my interests -- data and appealing visuals which now makes me think if becoming a data storyteller is a career path for me. Do I need to be good at Math as well for this??? Kudos Niko, Jay and @isaacgramz! The learnings are worth travelling via P2P and staying at an Airbnb home. Cheers!!! #Graphler
